Love it, hope to see more quality teams on the OOC schedule.

That is a great game. Once again, we will have one of the best schedules in the intermountain west. I'm sure that the players are excited for this schedule. It is not complete yet, but what we know so far looks really good.

Can hardly wait!

Exactly, how many PAC12 schools will be playing a game at OU?

I like how OU has made it a goal to play several teams that were in the NCAA tournament the year before.

Not sure why this is relevant. PAC 12 schools don't really need to play at OU. Our conference needs games like this. I am glad we are playing them. I like the mentality that we will play anyone anywhere. I just want to see a good home game once in a while.

You are right. PAC12 teams don't have to go on the road to play any other D1 OOC teams. The NCAA selects half of their teams to be in the dance regardless of their OOC schedules relative strength. To be bowl eligible, D1/FBS football teams must have 6 D1 wins. The NCAA could put a similar requirement on basketball and say that, to be eligible for the dance, a team must have a minimum of 13 D1 road games on their schedule. That would make these teams venture outside of their gyms for 5 or more OOC D1 games every year. That would still give them plenty of home games, but would provide a healthy mix in the scheduling of games for everyone. :coffee:

also found these on this site posted this year

Weber State is looking to start a H/H series at our place. We are willing to pay a guarantee to start here.

Weber State is looking for guarantee game on the road. Possible dates are Dec 15,16, 21,22, 27

Im guessing this is the Oklahoma game.

Weber State is looking to start a H/H series at home. Flexible dates.

When I opened up the site and picked Weber the site said Santa Clara was looking to start a H/H series :winky:

Thanks for posting that link. Seems like most want their H/H to start at their place.

Here are some potential opponents:
Cal State-Northridge Looking for a home/home series. November 26, December 5-9, 17.

Fresno State Fresno State is looking for 1 game. Dates available November 14, 16 and 17. Also, looking for a Multiple Team Event (MTE) in 2015.

Southeast Missouri St. Still looking for a home and home series/could start on the road.Nov. 24-30 Dec19-20 Still looking for 1 $ game. Would consider tournament to fill needs. Would entertain MTE 2014-2015

San Diego The University of San Diego is looking to start a series in San Diego on December 20th and 22nd!!!

Poor Utes can't find enough patsies this year. So they may be willing to play a decent team on the road.
Utah needs 1 game to finish the schedule on Nov 14th or 15th. We are considering 2 options. Starting a home and home series with a BCS opponent. We are open to starting on the road. We are also offering a guarantee for those dates as well and would prefer to play on Friday November 14th

Talked to coach last fall and he told me that he had reached out to Northridge once before, but that they wouldn't come because the Cats are too good.

I don't know why other WCC teams wouldn't come to Utah, other than for travel costs, to play Weber, especially since BYU plays the Cats ever year.

UTAH!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. However, I do feel they are the best team in the state next year. Depending on price, I'm sure Rahe would be interested in playing Utah. I heard there was discussion, but Utah wouldn't go for a H/H or even 2 for 1, only a guaranteed game.

NO UTAH, Unless it is a H/H and the pukes dont buy out of our home game.

And I hate the You're too good argument, Come on Northridge, what does that say about your program if your are scared to play a Big Sky team :ohno:

If I remeber correctly, the last WCC team to visit the Dee was San Francisco back in Randy's first years.

The home game against BYU will be December 13th. I am hoping our non conference schedule comes out any day now. Last year it was released on June 13th.

Good to see this game on a Saturday. Should easily be the biggest crowd of the year.

No reason not to have at least 9K at the Dee that night. The Y's schedule looks pretty good. Good thing that Rose still feels playing the Cats is imperative and a good instate rivalry (even though Weber hasn't won in over a decade; ugh!!)

I think it is a matter of time before the Cats schedule is released. So far, I like what we know...
HOME:
Oral Roberts
UVU
BYU

Illinois State at the Paradise Jam (+two more)

Away:
Oklahoma
USU
UT-Arlington

I'm hoping for three more OOC games.

I hope we can get 2 more home games and 1 more quality road game. I'm afraid though if we get 2 more home games it will be against 2 NAIA or D2 pasties. That St. Katherine game last year was an embarrassment. My 10th ward church ball team would have given the team a better game.

I guarantee that at least one of those games will be against a Patsy. I would love to see another DI team at the Dee. Hell, I don't care who either. It could be Abilene State for all I care. Just no more crap NAIA teams.

I also see Green Bay and North Dakota State willing to start a H/H on the road. Two of the best mid-majors from last season. Either would be a perfect fit.

As cool as it would be to play Boise again, good luck getting them to play here.

However I can see Green Bay and NDSU coming here in a home and home.

Northern Iowa is looking to start a home and home

Also UC Davis is looking for a in season home and home, I wouldnt have a problem playing Davis in the same year twice.

Cal State Northridge is looking for a H/H if they arent too scared to play us

Denver is also looking to start a H/H

Lost of opponents still looking for games

Last time we traveled to Cedar Falls it didn't work out so well for N Iowa. They would probably want nothing to do with Weber. :-D

Denver has made sense to me for a while. They are usually at least decent team and come from a solid conference. Root Sports likes to put them on the tube, too. Northridge doesn't help us much more than a D2 school. Love the UNI idea.
