2015 Recruiting

Does anyone have information on how recruiting is going? Coach Sears mentioned that we have 8 commits so far, and that recruiting hit’s the road after Thanksgiving . Anyone have any idea who’s committed, or who we are trying to recruit?

I heard they have some commits as well. I know the QB from Vista Del Lago is offered and the OL from there committed already. Two offensive lineman from Sutter High School up in Yuba City have committed as well. James McBride and Ricky Williams. Folsom Bailey Laolagi and the DE Sam Whitney are offered. Last one I know of is Malcom Thomas from Woodcreek. Among local players

Sac State just got another commitment from a local recruit Mister Harriel a WR/RB from Antelope HS. He runs a 4.5 40 yard dash. He was also being recruited by Weber St.

P.S. - Don't hold a lot of Cred to the Recruiting sites in regards to offers and college interest. The information given to the editors/writers come from the kids or parents and are not confirmed with the actual universities coaching staffs....some kids and parents are very honest, while others use the sites to hopefully draw interest to there kid when in reality no programs are even looking at them. Just because Univ of Oregon sent you a Evaluation Request (and they send out 100,000 each year) doesn't mean the Ducks are recruiting you...lol

That would be a nice pick up as Zack Kline was a four-star recruit out of high school. He also had an offer from Oregon State out of high school. I just wonder if he is considering Sac State or is he looking for an offer from a FBS school. I think if he is looking for a chance to start at the next level I would think he would consider Sac State as the competition is wide open

The coaches have a program with a winning season and a program on the rise along with a 67 year old university with great academics!!

Kline recently committed to Indiana State (an FCS program). This hurts, a legit 4-star quarterback leaving the state for another FCS program, it wouldn't hurt as much if it was an FBS program. This is quietly a big loss.
