Go to UNLV and have no idea where you are in the pecking order or know you have a legit shot to be the man in a high powered offense to showcase your skills, no brainer. And remember, Thompson gets hurt sometimes.Kadeezy said:There’s no real heir apparent to Thomson’s throne, this makes perfect sense - and might be the guy Taylor wants to have with him as they solidify the Hornets as a perennial power?
And Dunniway will be a JR. in 2020, available to spot start if needed, but pretty much everyone agrees we need a long term QB in the program...
It looks like Yaro doesn't want to be grey-shirted and that's the reason why he didn't sign with Utah State right away. According to his interview, both UNLV and Boise State going after him (probably with the same grey-shirt offer). I think he commits to one of those programs if that grey-shirt offer turns into a red-shirt offer which is pretty common. If it doesn't, then I see him taking the full-ride to Sac. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other FCS programs that tries to get in on the action late with him. A 3 star quarterback always has good value either as a back up at the FBS level or a 3 year starter at the FCS.
I still can't believe Dunniway will only be a Junior this year. At least we have him as a reliable injury replacement/gap year start after Thomson leaves this season
