Bring on the Aztecs!!!

How did they call time without possession?

Edit: we just got fucked out of a possession.

They didn't switch possession arrows on the last jump ball and it should have been our possession. They get it and score. Shit.

Really going to have to hit everything and keep up the pressure on D here. Can't let 'em run away with it now.

I have never seen us miss this many layups. Well, maybe I have (@NAU).

good game - you guys played us tough with some solid defense and forced us into a jump shooting team the first 30 minutes. best of luck in the future

You too. It was a clean game and I hope you guys win the entire tournament. Go get 'em.

No surprise but we were just over matched. Beitzel was great and realistically is the only guy on our team that belongs on the court with SDSU. I thought Lloyd played pretty well he's sort of changed my mind I think he could dominate in the Big Sky as a senior. The rest of the team wasn't able to step up. It was a great season, historic, and being heavy underdogs nothing to be upset about. :thumb:

This is the best I have ever handled any sort of UNC loss. We hung in quite well. Too bad it wasn't a 30 minute game and too bad Devon couldn't get some help. Next year looks to be exciting, a young team with lots of upside. We should be bigger and stronger inside and a new scorer will need to step up, but there are several candidates.

I moved this from a different thread:

From Mvemjsunpx

Your team did an OK job, particularly on defense, but no-one other than Beitzel could make a thing. SDSU didn't exactly put on a shooting clinic, either, but I get the impression they've been winning like that all year.

The next couple years will be a big test for BJ Hill, because all the impact players from the Boyle era are gone.

Guy is a good student of the game, and his not wrong.

Yeah, I agree as well. We have some good exciting young players but it's always difficult to predict how they will develop.

Good game by the Bears! When the Aztecs hold an opponet to under 50, we get curly fries from Jack in the Box but only at home. I am looking forward to following you guys in football over the next few years. One of our local kids is going there and will help you out.

I think next year will be interesting. Lloyd and Procter are going to be leaned on to lead the team. Addo, Tate, and Garnica are all going to be looked at to produce more. With the injured players coming back I think they'll help out as well. Plus the new recruits, I've found some video of them and they look very promising.

You never know though, after last season I didn't expect this team to do much, and thought that was going to be the case after the start of the season. But yet, looked what happen, big sky champs. I don't expect them to repeat, I think they'll be middle of the pack team.

If we're only in the middle of the pack, I would consider that a poor season. We will have young talent step up and finally have an inside game with Addo/Osborne. The 'Sky isn't a good b-ball conference and if we don't finish in the top 3, I would be disappointed.

Thanks man. Travis Bernard is going to be fun to watch on the gridiron in the next couple years.
