Eagles in the Pros

Well, I'm gonna state the elephant in the room. Bronson dropped the probably game winning pass. He had some impressive runs though. Looks like he has a lot of competition at runningback. I hope this doesn't cost him.

Definitely a bummer there, but I'd be surprised if it cost him, at least in the short term. Pete had some nice things to say about his overall performance in the post game presser and he certainly looked the part, albeit against 3's.

That said, I doubt he makes the 53 for the Hawks especially with Lynch back. Team is just too deep. Hopefully he continues to get touches and can catch on with another squad that has more of a need at RB.

I thought all three of the guys from the 'Sky (Bronson, Pulu, and Coyle) did well, but you could really tell they aren't used to the speed yet. Coyle took some bad angles at times but looked pretty good honestly, Pulu the same (needs to react faster and get off of blocks with more authority), and Bronson...well, our guy just needs to catch the damn ball. I feel bad for the kid, because I know he'll be playing that one over in his head for a loooong time.

Go Eags, FTG.

I was kind of watching the game from the corner of my eye, because it was playing at my work. I thought I heard Pulu's name, but for some reason I thought he has gotten cut. How did he do? Any big plays?

I also saw Coyle doing very well. Congrats to UM, I bet he makes the final roster.

Yup, I think he'll make the roster as Bobby Wagner's back-up at MLB and play ST. No small achievement for a undrafted FA out of the FCS. I pull for all the BSC players regardless of school when they get to this level (albeit a little harder for EWU grads) since we know they work so hard and have to come so far to prove themselves!

EWUmomma,
It has been very hot, and our team are getting their practices in, and seems to really enjoying it. Cass did tell me you was here, but I missed seeing you and family. Will be looking forward to seeing the crew Aug. 23rd, if these knees let me walk to the new lot, will try to be there. Was so damn hot on Saturday after the Scrimmage, and the Players signing the Posters, forgot to pick up my "Water Melon" from the Humphrey family :x :x :x . Cody, his dad and mom all came in for the scrimmage from Oregon. Guess will have to buy some else where :) :) :). Will be going out to catch the 3 pm practice today. Have my water in my cooler, ready for Chris to get home from work. She gets off at 1 pm, should be home by 1:40pm. We "THANK" and "APPRECIATE" the Humphrey Family. They bring in a truck of "Water Melons" at least twice a year for the team and others from Oregon. Take care. Vic

25:55 in.

EWU98,
Thanks for the info, I was wondering how he and Bronson did. Hoped you attended the Scrimmage today, the 2nd and 3rd string played the entire scrimmage. Those Players are going to be "Outstanding"    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: for the team. Those Quarter Backs, I think 4 passes were missed out of approximately 27 passes. Jake Gall had a "PICK", 4 tackles, our DL Jonar Jordan had 3 tackles, Marcus Saugen had 3 tackles, my big Buddy Pasefea recovered a fumble, his name is now little "Will Katoa" ;) . Look at our LBs/DBs all that got involved had 3 tackles each. I am very much impressed with those recruits, as I know most of you are if not all. Now on to the big game next week. About 3:30am, this am, I did set my DVR for the game next Saturday. ESPNHD C-206 DirecTV. Can't Wait. BTW Jake little sister were all over the field getting pictures of her "Big Brother    . Hope dad is very happy with her work. Hope her dad can make this game next week Saturday, here is keeping my fingers crossed :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Just saw on NFL.com that Greg Herd was cut from the Bears. Didn't see any other Eags on the list.

Bad news all around. And I thought Bronson had made it in. Damn.

Not sure if this was mentioned but Matt Johnson was cut by the Cowboys. Sad that injuries has stalled and maybe ended his career. Hoping my Bears give him a look when he gets healthy.

Bronson got signed back for the Hawks yesterday and sounds like he is playing today. Someone injured their Hammy so he got called back.

Damn, I hope he sticks. You can't play with a man's heart like that.
