Eastern Washington @ Montana: Official GDT

Hennessey looks fine...
So who would you start next week's. I personally would go with Hennessey and stay with him instead of this random an rotation. I think coach did them all a injustice by rotating all of them.
I wouldn't say Hennessey looked fine, he grossly under threw an open receiver in the end zone, fumbled the snap on 4th down, and fumbled another for a TD. That being said, he looked less worse than the other QB's.

Who's playing QB at SMU this year, we might want to call them up to the big club.

Our starting defense seems to play halfway decent against Montana scrub unit. Thank God. If this one would've ended 50-9 it would have been very difficult to argue we would be deserving of an at-large bid even if we beat Portland State.

Hate to say it, but they've completely given up.

I think they gave up last week and didn't even show up today. You knew getting pounded last week was either going to destroy this team or pull us together. Clearly, it destroyed us. We weren't in this game for a second today.

Portland State is a better football team than Montana by a country mile. If it's bad this week, how bad do we get thumped next week?

You could see this game was going to be a disaster when we came out playing three different QB's. I feel bad for Kupp. This game should have been a feather in his cap.

I disagree, we should have seen this disaster coming after week 2.

I agree with this quote in the sense that Hennessey never had a chance to get into a rhythm today. It felt like West was rotating with him a ton today (even WITHIN a series). He needs to be given the chance to start, and play a whole game before we can make any judgements.

go eags!

Unless we see miraculous improvement, the playoffs are completely out of the question. Unless we beat PSU convincingly, I would not select this team if I were looking at 7-4 teams on the bubble. Barely scraping by at home won't get us a birth.

This

What is also completely baffling is how poorly this offensive line has been playing. This is basically the same line that has been playing together the past three season, all of which yielded a conference championship.

You wanna hear something that is borderline unbelievable? If Portland State holds on against Southern Utah, we could conceivably win the Big Sky with a win next week.

I was thinking the same thing.

I think there has to be some dissension on this team. As was said previously, Jonah Jordan being on the practice squad is BS ( I watched this kid play in HS and he was good, you can't tell me that some freshman and a couple of guys barely over 210 pounds are better....NO WAY) Then you have Wadood who was a Pac-12 corner listed as a 5th string running back, that's a bright move coaches. Then the you have Kreifels who is probably one of the few guys who can hit and he never sees the field because he hit "little VA" a little too hard in the Oregon game. Hoffman had a some really good games last year but he probably didn't play politics as well as he should of.

It is just strange the way the season has played out. A couple of the wins that we do have were pulled out of our asses. We are not very good. We've just fallen off a cliff for some reason. Jabari seemed to run hard today, though (on the bright side).

hoffman is a great player and was a beast against montana last year. why is he not a starter?

Wadood and Hoffman are great mysteries to everyone. We can't cover anyone, and no one in our secondary sans Raines seems capable of making tackles. I just can't imagine either of those two regressed so far this season as to not being capable of contributing to this team.
