Way to stay optimistic, people.

we haven't played a game against montana that we haven't been competitive in since, I don't even know. and we are getting blown out. maybe you are ok with that, but I expect MUCH more for a 3-time defending conference champion. don't you?

#6 is totally lost out there. it's crazy to me that we don't have a player better than a freshman to start at corner. where is Wadood???

That blows my mind, too. Wadood never sees the field; Jake Hoffman at Montana up last year and isn't seeing the field. The guys we've put on the field are getting hammered by a poor offense.

Jonah Jordan started game 1 against Oregon, got injured, been ready to play since game 4...hasn't seen the field since, in fact not even traveling ...the defensive coaching, as I've said all year long, needs to be fired or re-assigned. Yes, I said it. I'm tired of watching D2 defensive coaching.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results"

Another head scratcher is when we blitz. I'm all for bringing pressure, but they are sending linebackers from presnap depth at the snap. They are nowhere close to getting home by the time the qb throws, which essentially just means we are playing with 10 guys. Dumb.

Yep, the times we have blitzed haven't been close to getting home. I mean, they are like 10-15 yards deep. I am puzzled by that as well.

I think our guys are going to come out ticked off. Maybe a little sense of urgency! Let's see. Keep the faith and believe!

Who can score quicker than we can?

Yes, frustrating, but this was always going to be a rebuilding year. Look at how much we lost from last year's team.

Yeah but thats not an excuse for looking like absolute dog shit.

Oh, I agree. Trust me.
I suspect that this is preaching to the choir, but during a rebuilding process, you like to see a team play better, later in the season.

the scary part is that next year we are probably "rebuilding" as well. we lose the entire line, and Kupp is most likely gone as well.

For sure, I do. But it's like stating the obvious. You could tell early on that we weren't going to be a playoff quality team this year. But I still support the team.

For Kupp's sake I hope he uses the extra year to work out in the weight room. I don't know of an FCS receiver leaving early and having it end well for them.

This game has almost taken on a morbid fascination. How bad can this team be? We're absolutely awful. Gutless, heartless, chickenshit, whatever you want to call it... We need these guys to man up and grow a pair.
