Yes, frustrating, but this was always going to be a rebuilding year. Look at how much we lost from last year's team.

Yeah but thats not an excuse for looking like absolute dog shit.

Oh, I agree. Trust me.
I suspect that this is preaching to the choir, but during a rebuilding process, you like to see a team play better, later in the season.

the scary part is that next year we are probably "rebuilding" as well. we lose the entire line, and Kupp is most likely gone as well.

For Kupp's sake I hope he uses the extra year to work out in the weight room. I don't know of an FCS receiver leaving early and having it end well for them.

he'll be gone.

Now I wanna see Gage for the rest of the game.

I don't see how it can hurt. Hennessey's out, West seems out of sync. It could be really hard on Gage to get in in this kind of situation, but this offense is not clicking.

Way to stay optimistic, people.

we haven't played a game against montana that we haven't been competitive in since, I don't even know. and we are getting blown out. maybe you are ok with that, but I expect MUCH more for a 3-time defending conference champion. don't you?

For sure, I do. But it's like stating the obvious. You could tell early on that we weren't going to be a playoff quality team this year. But I still support the team.

Supporting the team doesn't mean smiling while enduring this garbage. We've had teams that didn't have half this team's talent go toe-to-toe with much better Griz teams than this one. Yeah, this team may have issues, but Montana needed a miracle just to beat Idaho State last year. The difference in this game is them coming out and playing hard and us looking for a rock to go hide under.

Well, does coach let west keep digging a hole (not all his fault I know) or let a rookie come in with some fire and get a chance to show what he's got? Good or bad what can it hurt?

LOL.... Montana's high water mark for offense is 42 points this year. They've hung 43 on us in barely over a half. OMG, this would be hilarious if it wasn't so embarrassing. Way to show some heart today, fellas!

Gotta get West out now. No reason to keep him in the game to turn the ball over more. Hennessy and West couldn't have been worse today.

The comical thing on that last pick 6 is that the CB wasn't even in coverage. Yet West still picked him out.

Hate to say it, but they've completely given up.

I think they gave up last week and didn't even show up today. You knew getting pounded last week was either going to destroy this team or pull us together. Clearly, it destroyed us. We weren't in this game for a second today.

Portland State is a better football team than Montana by a country mile. If it's bad this week, how bad do we get thumped next week?

Hennessey looks fine...
So who would you start next week's. I personally would go with Hennessey and stay with him instead of this random an rotation. I think coach did them all a injustice by rotating all of them.
