Final - 2014 Recruiting - 26 Verbals

Good luck to him, Wyoming is a tough place to play at.

The good news is that I know of 2 other current EWU commits that had offers from Wyoming. They have no intention of changing their verbals. They told me that they want a chance to win week-to- week. Wyoming is not that type of program.

Screaming-Eagle174,
Bad news for all of us holding out for good news about Benjamin Gossmeyer, DL. Spoke with one of his friends from the same part of California, he stated Benjamin left the University before the end of break. Some personnel problems. :o :o     Don't know what type of problems. Also heard we are working to bring in the two individuals from El Cerrito, CA, some other University wanted one of them, they want to go as a pair. One is a QB, other WR. Hope to see many of your at Northern Quest in a few weeks, Feb 5th. Happy Dr. King Day. Vic Wallace

I just realized that there's two sets of twins with offers from California. Twins kids from California (Deer Valley High School - Antioch, CA ) Nzuzi and Nsimba Webster came during the first visit. San Jose St wanted one of them to grey shirt, but they had stated they were not interested in doing that, so unless that changes, I think they may have given their verbals already, you'll have to verify. SO the Benjamins were not on the first visit, as I Thought.

air045,
Forgot to get back to you. National Letter Intent, is for anyone that wants to attend. For EAA Members/
Boosters, price is $25.00 ea at the door, non members are $35.00. My buddy sent me an email reference Arizona State University NLI, there are $125.00 per couple, of course they are big times ;). I did hear that Coach were trying his best to bring in the Benjamin Twins. The QB seems like he could be a hell of a QB. Will wait to see what happens. Right now there are 52 names on the list and climbing. Don't know what is the limit. The room we utilizes for that is very big. Good morning. Vic Wallace

To All Seniors,
I am planning a meal for all 23 of you at my residence :D. Steven Forgette and Ashton Miller are heading it up. We are trying to get it done before Spring Practice commence. They will call me and let me know what date and time . Visited Costco Store yesterday, got some nice ribs, (stop licking your lips, I can see all of you  )

Like I have said before, we get these young men for 4-5 years, and then they are gone, feels like I am getting rid of some of my children. Maybe I get to close to all of them.   Vic Wallace

Vic, I want to thank you for your incredible support for our boys! It is so nice to know that there are people like you involved in their lives. Your grace will rub off on them...it can't be helped. Looking forward to seeing you at the banquet..you're going aren't you?
You are THE MAN!!! :notworthy:

loloman,
Yes my daughter and myself are going to the Banquet. Are you going to the NLI Feb. 5th, at Northern Quest? It will be held in the Hotel, Kalispel Room, I noticed today it is up from 52-56 personnel attending. And, thank you very much for your kind words. Heard that Erick is doing fine and his grades are fantastic. Got the information from Todd the last time we spoke about 1 week ago. Vic

Man, that's a bummer. Hope he gets whatever it is worked out. I was hoping he'd be a dominant player like Peach was for us. Not to discredit all the great DEs we've had, but we've been missing a truly dominant guy like that who can disrupt QBs like Greg did.

SE174
Look out for Evan Day, Samson Ebukam, Joe Douglas, Zachary Johnson, Matthew Sommer, and some of the Recruits coming in, we will be ok. Just can't wait for Spring Practice. Spoke to a young Player on Tuesday from Central Valley High, LB, Gaven Deyarmin, he had shoulder problem last year as a Freshman, he sat out the year, he came in the same time as Zach Bruce from U-High, he is ready to go. The team is working their Butts off in the Weight Room. Are you going to the NLI on Feb 5th, $25.00 at the door EAA Members, all others are $35.00 at the door. Vic Wallace

If true, this would be great news. Both seem like really good players. 2-for-1?

Air045,
The count for the NLI Feb 5ht, is now up at 71 individuals. Could be one of our biggest crowd, and we will get more. Don't know the cut off date. Every year for the past 5 years, we have always had a very packed room. Can't wait, just a little short of two weeks, exactly 12 days from today. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

P.S. Football Banquet in on Saturday Feb. 22nd, at 5 p.m., PUB Multipurpose Room, cost is $30.00 person. No walk up will be permitted. Can get your tickets by calling 509-359-2463. Vic

Nsimba Webster video. Tell me this isn't exciting.... I dare you. Around the thirty sec mark, look familiar? The 6"0' QB passed for 1.945 yards with a 20/4 touchdown to turnover ratio. Nsimba can RUN!!! Rushing for over 1,500 yards with 28 touchdowns. Combined total of 48 TOUCHDOWNS!!! Not in the fold as yet.

It is exciting. Getting to play together for 4-5 years has got to be appealing to these young men...and as exciting for them as it is for us fans in the potential for them to play at EWU. Man, I hope we get these two.

Great story about Josh Lewis from Steilacoom (Greg Herd's HS).

EWURanger and All,
I just looked at his films, he could be a great addition to our team. Loves the way he spoke about Coaches, Players, and the University. He said he was offered a position as CB, he looked great going both Offense and defense. We keep finding these Jewels. His family sounds happy with the decision their son made. Lewis Family welcome to Eastern Washington University, your son will not regret his decision. "WELCOME" Vic Wallace

Are we sure they're not related to VA? Holy cow, looks like a clone. Hope we get 'em! After redshirting, he would only have to sit a year, then have 3 years to succeed Adams if he won the job. 7 years' worth of play like VA's...
