Future Schedules

I am loving the fact that we picked up another game with the Dawgs! I think they know they are in for a loss and want a little redemption later on.
:lol: Love the enthusiasm

Wonder if we are trying to schedule any of the military schools. Probably a better chance of winning than Pac- 12 schools and a certain prestige in playing them.
Wouldn't a young kid think it is pretty cool to play @ Army, Navy, or Air Force academy?

I think the military school do not pay as well as the pac 12 and the travel is a long way. It would be fun to play the Aztecs in San Diego again. I can not remember what we got paid then but $$$ have changed since then?

I see the change on the game day with Portland State from Saturday Nov. 22 to Friday Nov. 21st. I'm guessing this will be a NIGHT GAME, but has anyone else heard of a game time?
Thanks

Hi E-Babe;
Good to see you and Vic yesterday. I'm glad to see you participating in the conversation here, welcome aboard!!
Did you and Vic have any notable observations of the first practice?

clawman,
I didn't make the practice on Saturday. I went to visit my Son in Moses Lake, he have been there now for the past 6 years as a Pastor. I was on the road about 07:17hrs a.m., spent a few hours, returned to Spokane about 2:30pm, worth while visit. Reference to the 1st Practice on Friday, I did notice some Players that caught my eyes, as usual Cooper will catch every one eyes. Blair Bomber WR, he was catching everything that was thrown his way, once he caught the ball he ran away from the defender. He is faster than I taught, his beard is cut short, maybe that is the reason for the extra speed. ;), Nic Sblendorio, WR, he runs some beautiful routes. All QBs had their turn in practice, VA, Jordan West from Maple Valley, and Conner Richardson (south paw) all threw the ball very well. Roldan Alcobendas, K, he had some height and distance on the ball, doesn't look like any problems when he broke his foot playing Soccer. p.s. a revamp roster is out with the numbers on them, including 12 of 13 Walk ons. Joe Nioku, TR,DB, from WSU, was unable to get his number, cold like you what on Friday. Of course the numbers are practice numbers. wish we can get the numbers for practice that they wear in the regular games. Think I will get some sleep tonight, the drive to Moses Lake helped. Good night. Vic Wallalce

Just announced we are opening the 2017 at Lubbock Texas to play Texas Tech. This should be the year we play Oregon St again based on the rotation we are playing the Northwest Pac-12 schools but i guess they didn't want to play us again :lol: :lol: :lol:

Can't wait for Aug 23rd! Go EAGS!!!

Nice! I got to play there in '08 and it's a great environment. Should be a winnable game for us if we stay on the track we've been for the past few years too.

I've been thinking, if we take care of UW this year, what are the odds Oregon buys out before playing us next season? It's really a lose-lose situation for the Ducks to play VA and Kupp as seasoned upperclassmen.

Perhaps the Beavers bought us out. :nod:

The Pac12 announced their 2014/15 schedules yesterday and I checked out the Oregonian to see what they said about the Ducks vs Eagles game next year. Pretty high praise for our Eags!
Check it out:
Here's the write up about the game vs EWU: http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2014/09/highlights_of_the_oregon_ducks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And this is just the schedule listed, but I include it because the comments from Ducks fans are great! The commenters are afraid of EWU and hope Vernon leaves early for the draft.

We've talked about the speed of players at the Pac 12 level being the hardest thing for EWU to match up with the last few years, but Oregon puts speed a whole new level. Looking forward to seeing how EWU matches up against one of the best in that conference. Could get ugly, but then again, could be the biggest upset in FCS vs FBS history! :thumb:

Having Michigan State the next week after the Eagles, the Ducks could easily be looking past us.
Not that we won't put up a good number of points on them, but even if they did look past us, it wouldn't matter. Unless our D turns into NDSU's, I would be shocked if they didn't score on every drive that didn't end in a kneel-down (at the end of the game), or if any of their scoring drives was more than 5 plays.

Yeah... we're gonna get rolled.

I sure hope Oregon QB Marcus Mariota declares before next year! He is exactly the type we struggle with at the FCS level, it would get real ugly if he is still around next season.
