Injury Bug

Prior to the game, Sommer (knee) and Kacmarcik (concussion in WSU game).

Karstetter-Achilles
Schlichting-Shoulder?
Kupp-Shoulder

Who am I missing? I know there were quite a few more.

Zamora has some sort of shoulder injury and I don't think he played in this game. Missing our top 2 LB's really hurt.

We lost Cooper during the second game of last season too. I'm sure he'll be back at some point. Until then, we have plenty of players on offense. I think we'll be fine.

Every time we play an MVC team in a dome, we lose and get beat up. We need to get these guys back for next week, because we'll need 'em. The trainers will need to get to work this week, because they'll be incredibly important.

the Cole Karstetter and o linemen injuries looked pretty bad. Doubt either will be back anytime soon.

I heard what they said on TV, and that was that Karstetter blew an Achilles, which probably means out for the season. No idea about the other guys... The schedule is still awfully difficult, so we can't afford to lose anyone else.

Losing Karstetter really sucks and we seem pretty young at that position. No idea on Kupp or Schlichting, but I have to imagine that for him to be held out of the game he must have been hurting.

Doubt it. He wouldn't have went back in the game if that was true. Dislocated shoulders are unbelievable painful and you can't move your shoulder.

I doubt we'll hear much on the Kupp injury unless it's worse than initially reported. Here's to a speedy recovery for all the guys waiting to get back.

Agreed. If it was something like that we would't have seen him go back in. It's probably something that he thought he could play through initially.
