I was born and raised in Bobcat country (Montana State University). Started college at MSU but transferred to the University of Montana. Bobcats were my team for years , but now call the grizzlies my team (bobcats are now my second favorite team despite their fans). I have always enjoyed great athletic competitions and performances, even if my team comes out on the losing side. PSU's athletes are always top-notch and fun to watch play. Put it all together this year and we'll meet for the BSC title later on.

Welcome to the site diacanthus! all fans are welcome here.

I am BlueQ,

a California resident,
Michigan undergrad school, and
California grad school.
My son plays on the PSU football team.
I have been to two spring games (2006 and 2007), four away games and four home games. I am a football fan, and I really enjoy talking and reading about the game.

He finally got to you, but oh well, this is better site anyway. Glad to have here and hope you are able to attend the football games if you don't leave the rose city. It should be quite a season to remember. /users/31/07/37/smiles/595146.gif

this season for sure Ill be there no doubt...its the consequent seasons that are up in the air but I sure will keep my fingers crossed...and regarding He Who Must Not Be Named, it was fun to banter with him for some times, but ultimately it got old and I just wanted to talk about PSU and not have to keep trying to "defend" my fanship with that jackhole

I attended PSU from 79-81 for my jr and sr years. I was witness to the Lomax barrage of 105-0 over Delaware State and 93-7 over Cal Poly Pomona, poor Roman Gabriel, games in the fall of 1979. I had season tickets during the D-II glory years of the 80's under Pokey Allen. I remember 21k at a semifinal game with Texas A&I. Those were great times.

You mean Hillsboro Stadium? Hare Field is a different facility.

Good point though. That year away from PGE/Civic cost the program quite a bit in interest.

Hare Field, isn't that used by Glencoe's football team a lot?

Mouse remembers Hare Field..

I graduated from PSU in 2005, have been to every home game the last 2 years and bought season tickets this year. I am looking forward to the Glanville/Davis era and hopefully more frequent trips to the playoffs.
