Wow....
You guys were as tough as I thought you were and I really feel like you guys deserved to win this game. We were not ourselves committing some very dumb plays, and some of that was due to the pressure you were putting.
You guys were for real and if you were on the other side of the bracket, this easily could have been the championship game.
You guys have one hell of a team. I know this loss was heartbreaking... it certainly felt that way for me after that unbelievable catch made in the endzone to give you the lead.
You guys are for real and congratulations on a great season. I wish you the best, and hopefully we won't have to face you guys again anytime soon!

What a game! You guys have done something no team has done all year. You came to our place and smacked us in the mouth. The most worthy opponent we have played all season, and we were VERY lucky to have won this game.

Damn, I thought you were going to pull it off. Congrats on a great season and being the true Big Sky Champs this year. Looking forward to our game next year and hoping we can get our program back where we can compete with your for the championship.

That was an unbelievable challenge on our turf. New respect for the program that you guys are building out there. See you in December next year for sure.

JMU fan here. Heck of a game!!! You all played really well and I'm not sure when my heart rate will return to normal.

Congrats on the season and you will be back.

You guys made a great showing, making the Big Sky proud. Wish the ending was just a bit different but I am impressed with your showing.
Good Job- Go Big Sky!

Going to be hard to get over this one. But, I loved every minute of the season. Best Weber St team ever. Thanks Coach Hill and staff, and players, for a great run. We'll be back.

No doubt about it. You guys are scary good!

And Garside goes on Twitter and asks if that was Jay Hill's last game at Weber. What an A-hole. Wish the Standard would just fold.

:+1:

Still just feeling devastation. I expected a close game, I expected Weber to hang in there and represent our school well, but I did not expect an 8 point lead with 4 mins left. To see that evaporate so quickly kills me. The game was decided in the 1st half. JMU ran 50 plays on offense in the first half alone. No defense can sustain for 4 quarters when they are on the field that long.

I am so proud to be a wildcat right now but holy shit this hurts. This team was national championship quality.

I may never see a Weber team this good in my lifetime. I am grateful I was able to see the Montana and SUU games in person and I hope the program carries over some momentum to next year.

You all have lots to be proud of. This game was nip and tuck every inch of the way. We were lucky to have won.

It's a shame we had to meet in this round. Too bad you couldn't have played NDSU. You would have beaten the crap out of them.

Great job representing the Big Sky tonight. I wish the outcome would have been different. This loss hurts because this Weber State team is built for the playoffs. Too bad Weber State isn't on Idaho's schedule next year because it would be a great game.

First, love all the post and support from our Big Sky brethren. We battle all year, but at the end of the day, we are all right there supporting each other's success. Thanks guys!! Next, JMU posters, you guys are a classy bunch. It's been a really fun week, thanks for stopping by and chatting football with us. Your team is awesome! I expect you guys to raise the trophy again. The Cats gave it their best shot. That was one hell of a game. I'd be lying if I said I had a good night sleep. That ending was awful. An absolute nightmare for a Weber fan. Regardless, that was one hell of a game. What a great season! Thank you Coach Hill, staff, and most importantly the players. Best team in Weber State history.

What the Hell?

Well, as a JMU fan, I certainly hope our AD put Hill's name on his short list in the event our coach moves on this year or next. You guys played an incredible game, and didn't deserve to lose. I'm still in shock.

Congrats on a great season. Unfortunately for us, I think you exposed our achilles heel (our depleted and banged up OL). Not sure how much longer we can lean so heavily on our defense (who you also exposed).

Great game by Weber. They left it all on the field. No reason at all to hang their heads after that loss. That was a game to be proud of.

I think it is a poor move on his part, but Garside was publicly asking a question we have all asked ourselves. Is this it? Personally, I don't think so, but money talks (I've never imagined Jay as a money first guy but more of a perfect opportunity type guy). He has learned from Anderson and probably feels like he still has something to accomplish here at Weber. but, if the right situation were to present itself I feel he'd take it (BYU or USU).
