Here is something I thought about last night. Would it be to our advantage to not have a bye in the first round and play a team like EWU? Would an extra win impact our RPI that much?

I personally think having a bye is worth a lot more than having our RPI move by 5-10 points.

Stay tuned. We'll find out next season when the bye is eliminated. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Hmmm... 168. YIKES!! Well, maybe after the tournament the Cats might jump up a few spots?

I think a 13-14 seed might happen for WSU.... All these upsets make me wonder. Weberski might have been right all along!!1 :thumb:

Ain't no way they get better than a 15. And 15 is still a stretch. Even the teams winning the conferences where the 1 seeds are losing still have better records and RPI.

Irvine is another #1 that is NIT bound. Long Beach and NMSU on the ropes against below 500 teams. Hope is alive for a 15

So if Cal Poly gets in, does that count for us too since they are a football only member. Poly & Northridge will play for a chance to go to Dayton. This isn't a good year to be a 1 seed from a one bid league.

With a win Weber will NOT play in the first round (play-in game). North Dakota likely would.
:thumb: thanks for these updates...by my count there are 6 or more possibilities as #16 seeds with higher RPI numbers, making it a good chance Weber State may get a #15 seed?! GOOD LUCK WILDCATS--get that prize dance card tonight!!!!!

Weber fans should be big Albany (202), Morgan St (228), and Idaho (239) fans today.

FYI: WAC game follows BSC championship game on ESPNU...GO IDAHO-beat those other Aggies!
Interestingly, the Big West game is on ESPN2 at 8:30. Guess the BW is one better than the BSC??
Enjoy all the fun action...March Madness is heating up!!

The Big West Championship has had the late spot on ESPN2 for years. I was surprised that we were able to get our Championship on Saturday night on an ESPN network at all. They were the ones that had us move to a mid-week tournament in the first place.

You're right & I guess most of the east coast will be fast asleep (not that they would bother watching the BSC either). I guess we all should be happy that it made U instead of 3 ? And on a weekend.
