• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

If everything from seeding to selection was based on rpi No need for a selection committee, just reel of the rpi list.

A couple of years ago, Doug Fullerton came to Weber and talked about the process (it was in July and was sparsely attended, but a very fascinating presentation) of the Selection Committee. Doug made it known that he is a basketball guy. That he loves the sport and enjoys being part of the process. he said RPI, along with those known factors are involved with the process, but also said that regionalizing the games and matching up the opponents based on style of play, and history were other aspects involved in selection and match ups. Maybe in the future, the university can invite The commisioner back and have him talked about it again sometime. It was pretty awesome. Also the AD talked about changes and the future of athletics at the university.

On a pre-selection show today the director over the selection committee said they put a lot of the selection of teams based on the "eye test". Hopefully they watched the Wildcat's impressive win last night!

I was thinking that hopefully we earned a few style points last night. We showed good guard play and an inside game. I hope our seeding wasn't pencilled in before our game. I have heard that with the championship games on selection sunday, they have to pencil in the different scenarios.
