Edited to add each new offer to main list in OP. Players who have committed elsewhere removed from first section.

Original post:
RB Isaiah Hendrix, Denver East was offered.

Hendrix received the offer today while camping at UNC, where he put together a strong performance. UNC is looking at Hendrix to use his diverse skill set to play running back and potentially slot.

Last season for Denver East, Hendrix averaged over seven yards a carry on the way to 852 rush yards. Along with his work as a runner Hendrix was a dangerous return man who averaged over 22 yards per kickoff return.

Isaiah is good friends with his former East teammates, Lexington Smith and Jace Davis. :thumb:

RB Isaiah Hendrix, Denver East was offered this weekend.

I don't know anything about this kid but I do know that Denver East plays in a very weak conference - the Denver Prep League. The league, as a whole, is so weak that they had to drop down a couple of years ago from 5A to 4A because they were getting their asses kicked by anyone outside their conference. So, I'm not all that impressed by this kid's stats. That being said, you do get lucky once in a while with a pickup like Jace Davis (who, by the way, only played one year for Denver East). IMO, the jury is still out on Lexington Smith as to whether he'll make an impact for the Bears on defense.
If this coaching staff is going to make some noise in the BS they need to stay away from conferences like Denver Prep and stick with finding talent from the power conferences with winning programs.

Didn't Collins go to East?

Man, you are full of misinformation, aren't you? Denver East doesn't play in the Denver Prep league, for starters. By the way the "entire" Denver league did NOT drop down to 4A a couple years ago as you suggest: Thomas Jefferson and Denver East still play 5A and are in a different conference with tougher competition than the DPS schools with smaller enrollments. I believe several Aurora schools are in their conference now.

Regardless, you have to look at the individual player and not dismiss them because they come from a small school or weak conference. There are diamonds in the rough that are worth polishing from schools all over.

East has put several players on Div 1 scholarships (Colorado, Arizona State and UNC) in recent years --- Isaiah may also be a good player, our coaches seem to think so. And, Jace Davis played basketball for East, but never football, just to be clear. He transferred as a junior and had to sit out the football season. I'm not giving credit to the school for his ability, either, just saying that Isaiah knows a couple East guys on the team and that can always make a kid look twice.

Don't forget running back from Oakland, Earnest Marshall

Two more offers out:

DT Vontrell Williams
Mt. Carmel HS in Chicago, Illinois
6'2" 275
Vontrell has about 11 offers already.

OL Nate Shepherd
Castle View HS in Sedalia, Colorado
6'3" 285
Has visited unofficially. From Rivals:
HIs final spring visit came to Greeley, Colorado and the University of Northern Colorado. Shepherd said he got some time with the coaches, the facilities and another invitation to a spring game.

"Their practice was intense and they are going to make a splash in the Big Sky this year," Shepherd opined.

another offer:
OT Parker Kitching
Castle View HS, Sedalia CO
6'4" 290

From PrepColorado.com:
Parker Kitching, a 6-4 290 pound offensive tackle, was at the UNC camp with Castle View teammate Nate Shepherd. Both Kitching and Shepherd impressed UNC offensive line coach Michael Armour and received verbal offers.

I don't know if this is a possibility but former Grandview LB Chris Martin is leaving the Florida Gators. It's not because of lack of playing time either, nor grades. He would be a great asset to this team. Here's the release from ESPN.

Another two offers out there:

Valor Christian’s Isenburg, Miller offered.

Linebacker A.J. Isenburg and wide receiver Stephen Miller of Valor Christian picked up offers from Northern Colorado on Saturday, according to Isenburg’s father, Mike.

Isenburg, who was named defensive MVP, and Miller (offensive MVP) helped Valor Christian win the weekend’s 7-on-7 event at UNC.

I got lost trying to remember who had already been posted here, so here's an alphabetical list - those I could find as of today.

I also added whether the player had other offers, so we can see who the competition is for their signatures.

Had a tough road to this point - hope the next steps go well for him.

Football Saved Their Lives
December 31, 2010 ·

News Feature, Christina Lopez, Posted: Dec 31, 2010

Three boys. One dream.

Kennedy High School football players JaVon Jones, Isaiah McClain and <b>Leonard Waldon</b> have all become star players of their high school football team. But not long ago, they didn’t imagine themselves getting off the streets. Through a series of unexpected circumstances, it was football that brought the boys out of gangs and onto a field of new possibilities.
One of them even hopes to earn a spot to play at the college level.
At 295 pounds, six-and-a-half feet tall, and only 16 years old, Waldon is the youngest player on the Eagles varsity team. The junior tackle is already getting attention from big-name universities like Boise State, the University of Wyoming, and UC Berkeley.

“Football saved my life,” Waldon said. “If I wasn’t in football, I’d probably be somewhere, probably back in jail somewhere.”

rest of the story is here:

I don't think this one has been mentioned:

Christian Rebhun - 6'5" 235 TE (cherry creek)

http://hscolorado.scout.com/a.z?s=385&p=8&c=1&nid=5622380" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also:

James Dowgin - 6'1" 180 DB/WR (greeley west)

Doesn't have an offer from UNC, but has interest it seems.

I want to know if UNC has a chance at landing Chris Martin. Articles have mentioned that he left Florida because he wants to be closer to home (Colorado). If he went to CU or CSU he would have to sit out ANOTHER year. He's already been on two FBS rosters, I'm not sure if he will want to sit out a year. He's got some character issues, with being busted for a small amount of weed, but that shouldn't stop us from trying to get him. He was a 5 star recruiting coming out of high school and would be an amazing addition. Let's hope this happens. What do you think? Does UNC have a chance?

who knows the tranfer rule from a BCS Div.1 school to Division 1AA?
Can they skip the sit-out transfer year? Because that would put UNC in a good position.

June 24, 2011
The Florida Gators football team announced on Friday that defensive end Chris Martin will transfer from the program.

"Chris and his family have indicated that it might be best for him to be closer to home (Aurora, Colo.)" said coach Will Muschamp. "We wish him nothing but the best of luck."

Martin, a 6-4, 250-pound redshirt freshman, transferred to UF from California in July of 2010.
