I would love to hear some recruiting info, if anybody has any. I do know that they are bringing in 6 or 7 HS kids in next weekend for visits. Mostly local kids. Anybody heard anything else?

Tyler Graves' brother, looks like a very good athlete, sprint champion in track and a basketball player at Fruitland before he transferred. Will be interesting to see what side of the ball he winds up on -- had 15 TDs at WR, 8 interceptions at DB.

Burtenshaw is a Poky product, will be on a partial scholarship:

According to the Idaho Statesman, Gooding High School 6'4" 270 lb. DT Cole McGinnis has received offers from ISU, Weber, Montana and Utah State. He's an outstanding football player and I do hope he comes here, but it's no guarantee with Montana and USU in the mix. McGinnis is also a great heavyweight wrestler, and recently destroyed the competition at the prestigious Rollie Lane tournament in Nampa over the weekend. If he wanted to wrestle in college then I'm sure there would be plenty of schools that would be interested in him. Here's a few articles about him:

When the ISJ came out with its all area teams a week or so back, it mentioned that Highland's TE Nate Page would sign with ISU.

It's true, Sasquatch. Nate Page is a josh hill clone out of HS. Big 6'5" lean 215 lbs. with 4.6 speed. He'll be a great player for us. Received a lot of interest from other schools including offers by wyo but turned them down. Great kid and student.

Another offer...

News came in Wednesday that W.F. West (Chehalis, Wash.) QB Tanner Gueller had received his first offer when the Idaho State Bengals made a play at the 6-foot-3, 225-pound senior.

Gueller was recently named second team All-State by the Associated Press after a huge season in which he completed 172-of-272 passes for 2,435 yards and 36 TD’s. What might surprise most is that he also rushed for 768 yards and 9 TD’s on just 114 carries.

The Gueller kid is a stud. Here are his senior highlights. Should be a great fit in the offense.
