This post actually makes sense, Jackson left San Diego where he had a chance to win to go to Tampa who suck. This was a money grab if I have ever seen one. Winning isn't important to Jackson money is. Maybe he did weigh in on Collins so his boy could keep getting paid. After all if he gets canned who in their right mind would hire him. Winning is not a priority for this staff. Last year was a prime example of that the season was over after seven games and Boyer kept playing Seth instead of getting Rubes experience. This was simply to pad his resume of NFL prospects it was not to help the team get better this year. And they did the same thing this year. Why was #28 playing RB instead of #43 or #26 why did none of the younger D-line get time unless someone was hurt. why didn't #14 get more time at QB why did we use the same O-line over and over again? This staff is not even close to what they represented themselves to be when they were in my living room.Beardown said:cvBearfan said:Godeev said:beardevil39 said:Godeev, you finally made sense in your last post but I agree with Brian, you just can't keep your job by by completing only one half of your assignments. We cannot settle for the mediocrity that has settled in with this program and I for one am going to keep beating the horse till it comes alive!
So how does Collins keep his job? It doesn't add up. What am I missing, why does he still have a job after his current record? There must be a logic explanation.
No one is willing to write the check like they are doing at UNLV.
UNLV: Head coach Bobby Hauck has resigned, effective Monday. Their final game is Saturday night against Nevada. He will receive a one-time payment of $400,000 in connection with his exit. Hauck had two years remaining on his contract.
Or it could be the opposite. Someone with money wants him around. I know Vince Jackson is a huge Earnest Collins fan. Just something to think about.
