I don't have a picture of it, but did anyone notice the slot machine handle on the side of the scoreboard?
I thought it was a cheesy touch, but not too noticeable, so not horrible.
The handle itself has a big red ball on the top of the handle with EWU logos over it so that's cool.
Overall though the scoreboard is great. I personally feel that it helped encourage the fans to respond to big 3rd downs and big moments (something our fans have had problems with in the past). Well done EWU Athletics. Well done!

I'm getting a bit peeved about everyone complaining about how horrible fans we are ... Is there room for improvement, YES! The attendance is better, the noise is SLIGHTLY better, but I was looking down on every key 3rd down play in the 4th quarter and with the exception of MAYBE one, the vast majority of the upper grandstand was sitting down. It's not even remotely disputable.
But good on ya for standing up Hannah.

I'm gonna have to side with calm. Although there were a good handful that stood up and got loud, the vast majority did not. I don't understand how our fanbase, a good portion of which are also Seahawks fans I would presume, doesn't know how to get loud. I'm pretty sure Kalm wasn't calling you or our fanbase horrible fans, but there is a lot left to be desired in regards to vocal fan support when the other team is on offense.
