33 Road Games: 2-31 (.061)
19 Neutral Court Games: 4-15 (.211)
66 Total Games: 15-51 (.227)
(Road wins were Idaho over Little Rock and PSU over Pepperdine)
You're absolutely right, the system isn't fair at all. With that said, a 9-5 home record isn't great, and 4 of those wins come from 1 team, EWash. But I think the horrible neutral court record really tells the story of how bad the conference is. And what's funny is I heard Rahe on the radio just before the season started saying that the conference was going to be better this season, that most teams had a lot coming back. I don't think the conference has ever been worse. We're probably looking at a play-in game. But at least that way we get a real chance at finally getting a win in the dance. :lol:SWWeatherCat said:SWeberCat02 said:14 Home Games: 9-5 (.643)

Thanks, kinda guessed the numbers to be about what they are. It would sure make a difference to the Weber State's and Big Sky's of the basketball world if the playing field was more level.

How can Weber do what GCU is doing? Do you have any idea how much they paid SDSU and Louisville? Millions... Do you know how big our overall budget is? Louisville's entire Men's basketball budget is our entire athletic budget. That should give you a pretty good idea how much money Grand Canyon paid to get Louisville to visit (this should really piss you off... 75% of Grand Canyon's money comes from Federal Fin Aid Loans and Grants and that is used to build their athletic programs).
U of L's agreement with Grand Canyon included last year's game at the KFC Yum! Center, a 111-63 Cards win, plus a 2017 matchup back in Louisville. GCU will receive $100,000 in guaranteed cash for playing that 2017 game, the only money involved in the two schools' agreement.

Millions, really tal. That's a slight exaggeration. It has much more to do with Jerry Colangelo and his connections. Louisville is a two for one deal AND GCU gets $100,000.
