I saw that article yesterday, nothing new to folks that read this board and if anything a pretty underwhelming article. He fails to mention the impact KB the Quitter had when he bailed and just recycled the same names that are always mentioned whenever a HC hire happens. Credit for getting some Orr and Thompson quotes in though.
I think Barney the Dinosaur could have written a more in-depth article. Is Joe Davidson really Super Hornet?

Blaming the QB who gave this team half its playoff wins as a D1 program. Quiet down keyboard warrior.
This wasn't an offseason portal transfer, which is part of the game now. If he wanted out then he should have exited during one of the multiple portal sessions. Instead, KB the Quitter bailed 2 weeks into the season because reasons. That's his legacy now, which is sad given the immense talent he was gifted with and the notable games he won while balling out here.

To be clear and transparent, announcing what exactly? Because wouldn’t it be a conference making that announcement?

Del Rogers on Channel 3s 11:00 news had a clip of Dr. Wood. He didn't identify the candidate but said an announcement would be made Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

See, that’s why I posed the question. It seems people are discussing two entirely different things.
This thread is about conference alignment and potentially moving to FBS. And tangentially, news on a new stadium.
The last couple posts highlighted talk from a podcast suggesting that SAC has no chance to get into the PAC-12 or MWC while Kadeezy has been suggesting otherwise.
Yet now we’re back to talking about a coaching announcement. We all know that’s happening tomorrow or within a few days at the latest.
But what about the move to FBS and stadium news? Isn’t that what Kadeezy and his source(s) have been hinting at for around 2 months now?

I would also like some clarification on the stadium plans. The word was construction would start "after the season". It was unknown if construction was to be done in stages with at least part the stadium being able to be used next season.
If not they better be lining up other venues to use during construction. I am also curious about the progress of the Well project. It was to be available in the fall for VB & BB, then it was pushed back to December. Is it going to be open at all this BB season? Maybe some of our questions will be cleared up when they introduce the new coach.
I don't want Wood or Orr announcing anything regarding a conference, I want the conference to announce something.
That in itself would mean stadium anything would have to kick into high gear development.
Verifies what exactly?
a. That Kadeezy knows something?
b. Stadium approved, construction starts on 1/1/2025?
c. New HC announced?
d. That a new conference will be announcing additional membership?
e. MBB Well facility is open on 1/1/2025?
