You are a class act. Talking about being an old fart, put me in that category, come Tuesday, Sept 9th, will be my 81st Birthday. Does that qualify me for an old fart?     We will have a spirited game tomorrow. We went out and saw the team off this am, flight got airborne at 08:13 a.m.. We watched the Plane until they got out of sight. Very blue skies, Good Luck Tomorrow, may the best team win. No Injuries on either teams. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

I was born and raised in Saint Thomas Virgin Islands. I left the VI at age 19, to visit my Aunt in Florida, the Racial problems there drove me to join the US Air Force, in 1954. Here I am Retired after 20 yrs 23 days. What you said about your time in school, remind me of how hard is was to live. We did have some hard times, I continually explain to my children how hard is was living in those Islands. Don't get me wrong, I love the Islands, but times did get hard. We live off the land. I have 7 Children, ages, 6 in their 50s, my youngers just turn 39 August 31. 12 Grand Children, 5 Great Grant. I lost my beautiful Wife Aug 1999, after 45 years of marriage. Eastern Washington University Athletic Program, and the men and women in that program, became my children away from home. Really, they help myself and Daughter with our grieving process. Retired from EWU 20 years ago after serving the University for 21 years. Enough for my book. Vic Wallace
