Not sure which is worse, this one or the "Jones fracture". Pun not intended, that's actually what it's called. I remember people (myself included) hoping TJ would be back for the championship game, and as we saw...he wasn't even close after over a month. Not sure how different those injuries are, but maybe that gives people a rough time frame.
The more I think about it, JW doesn't need to be VA, but he is going to need to be able to make some of those difficult throws that our offense requires...and he is going to need to be able to manage the game, without turning the ball over. We simply cannot turn the ball over, which is why I hope that Forte is close to coming back. We'll need all of our backs healthy going into the second half of the season with no VA because they quite possible may need to carry a large part of the load. Time to see what our O Line can really do.
