Another good example, MSU is 8-0 at home, but is 1-9 on the road, they lost at ISU tonight by 5.

They're 8-0 at home because they haven't played anybody at home. MSU isn't any good, we'll beat them at home, at a neutral site, on the road or on the moon. I say the same about Weber and ISU, those three teams simply don't have as much talent as UNC does.

That may be true but talent doesn't always determine the winner. UNC has proven that if they do not work really hard the entire game they can't win (check out the non-conference teams they have lost to).

Agreed, but a game on the moon would be pretty fun to watch, right?

GB2010, ya gonna blame the refs again after Weber stomps the Bears Sat night.

For the record, the whole refs thing was a knee-jerk reaction. We lost that game because Taylor Montgomery was hurt and our other post players let that stiff Steve Panos score 29 points.

Also, Weber hasn't "stomped" a Division I team yet this year, with their biggest DI win being by 13 at home over a really bad Sac State team, what on Earth would make you think they're going to start now?

Weber is 0-7 this year against the RPI top 150. UNC's RPI is 132. That's bad news for the Wildcats.

No it's not, we get Lillard for 2 more years. You guys better Win Saturday night it will be your last chance for several years. Wildcats by 15. Lick yourself gb'10.

Weber hasn't beaten ANYONE by 15 this year. The 'Cats only double-figure win of the season is against Sac State, who is close to last in the RPI. If anyone wins this game by 15, it'll be the BEARS.

Love your optimism WSUnPurple but I am not sure your team can back it up though anything can happen once they tip it off.

Out of curiosity, why do you think WSU got smoked in Greeley, and why will it be different on your home court?

WSUnPurple - you sound like a class act. Face the facts. Right now there are only two good teams in the
Big Sky, Montana and UNC. All the other teams need to improve a lot to get in their class. Weber lost to
each by 19. I doubt the home court is worth 20 points. If the Bears continue to play with same defensive
effort, the Wildcats simply don't have enough offense to match the Bears.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Anyone making the trip? WSU v UNC is fast becoming a good rivalry. On paper UNC should win this game, but as any true Sky hoops fan knows, the Dee is a tough place to play. So don't count the Weebs out. After tomorrow, I'll be rooting for the Bears the rest of the way. Anything to keep those wankers for Missoula from hosting. Go Cats!

It took sac and psu ten years to get 1st win at the dee. I hope unc doesn't try and out do those guys. :D It took the Bobcats 47 years to get double digit wins in Ogden and 2 were in 2009 when we choked.

I won't guarantee a win but I don't think it will be like the game in Greeley. I've seen enough wsu games to expect that.

That's all well and good but that helps you how tomorrow?
Good point Brian. New history is being made. UNC's history doesn't make their team any worse
just like Weber's past doesn't make this version of the Wildcats any better.

I see all of those players that won all of those games and it occurs to me, none of them will be on the floor tomorrow night. In the words of Rick Pitino, Harold Arcineaux's not walking through that door, Eddie Gill's not walking through that door, and if they are, they're gonna be old and gray.

The guys that got their butts kicked by UNC six days ago? Those guys will be on the floor tomorrow.

All i'm' gonna say is: the wsu team i saw at Butler-Hancock last week was one of the worst teams i've seen in the BSC in a long time. We could have beat them by 40 and probably would have if we weren't heading to their court this week.

bottom line, all those wsu posters will get real silent by about 10pm mst tomorrow night.

I doubt it. Many of them treat this as a friendly rivalry and will congratulate us and want us to go on and smoke Montana. The one that just seems to talk trash will fall back on their great history.

I know Colorado has legalized medicinal cannabis, but I didn't realize everybody was smokin it until reading your board this week. I'm thinking the posters on THIS board will hunker down in Moms bsmt after tomorrow nights game, for a few days at least until you're sober.

Funny because you really sound like you have never made it out of mom's basement.

This comes to mind when I read your posts:

There are just polar opposites from one Weber Fan to another. I don't think this will be a blowout and I expect WSU to come hard for the 1st half. The Bears need to take care the basketball and try to keep momentum on their side. The dee is hard place to play, especially when yuo don't take care of the ball. Lloyd needs to play like he did at Butler last week. If Devin can hit a few shots and we can keep the Cats off the boards it should be another W for UNC. BTW Brian that gave a pretty good laugh.

PS I AM NOT PREDICTING ANY SUCH WINS FOR THE BEARS! COLLEGE BASKETBALL IS HARD ENOUGH TO PREDICT. IN MORNING PAPER WSU IS FAVORED BY 1. GO BEARS!
