The punter was offered by Wyoming last week and also holds offers from California, Colorado State and Cornell.

The offer from Cal is as a preferred walk-on so I'd say we're still in the mix.

His Wyoming offer is a scholly per his Tweet on Dec 23:

Unless they are throwing in a new car every year why in the hell would a kid spend his college years in Laramie?????

How'd we lose a guy to Central?!?!!

I'd be surprised if that were the case. With all of the recent verbals we've had at DB it may have changed some of our offers.

EWURanger,
Thanks for the information, I was thinking of Dan Curley, and he did play for the Rams for a few years. Using Gurley name surely came with plenty of remarks:) I am familiar with Dan Gurley, LA RAMS, my team, sucks hind tits this year. Need a great Coach to go with that DEFENSE, and they will shake up the NFL for years to come. Happy New Year to ALL, 0001hrs tonight, stay sober, get a designated driver, or stay home. I will stay home and watch TV. Vic E. Wallace

Here are Jack Colletto's highlights. Washington Gatorade player of the year!

True that! If they don't land him, this in-state guy's an option...http://www.hudl.com/profile/4775575/kyle-sentkowski

Man, he can really run. Could Jack be one of the recent verbals mentioned in the tweet from Coach Valeria?

Interesting to think of a QB like him coming to EWU. He would likely redshirt next year, and then sit behind Gubrud, Hennessey, and Barriere as a RS freshman. Then he'd have to compete with Barriere, and if the backup, may have to wait till his senior season to be the starter. But he's a competitor, maybe he'd love that level of competition to earn the starting spot.

He'd be a huge signing if he chooses us.

LadopaPDX,

Do you know where Gurley is from? We had a Dan Gurley played here for us a few years ago, might be related. Vic E. Wallace

There's a Todd Gurley playing for the Rams... Would definitely take some of that

Anfernee Gurley from Archbishop Murphy and Todd Gurley of the Rams are in fact related.

Anfernee is a special player and person. Lots of character in his videos and Twitter. Great addition to the team. Apparently several of the Christmas signees have been using Ford Sports Performance.

Maybe grades

Yep, probably an Academic Redshirt as a Freshman, which wouldn't be the worst thing. Spend a year learning while the Senior finishes up then compete the following year for the job as a Redshirt Freshman. Dual skilled guy is always nice.

Wyatt was #1 on my wish list and he will be a great addition to the program! He held offers from Army, Colorado State, Idaho, Nevada, Weber State, and Minnesota. Welcome to the Eagle family Wyatt!
