Keeler vs. Baldwin II - With National attention on our doorstep, lets hope we have the same outcome.

I think we absolutely throttle SHSU. They lose a TON of their talent and we bring back almost all of ours. Home game, ESPN, we win this going away. EWU and the Big Sky are due to absolutely throttle SHSU and that will be on 8/23.

I think we win by 20+

20+ points I don't think so. All smack aside unless you've gained a lot of defensive speed in the off season I don't see this game being very close at all. Speed is the big difference between the Southland and the Big Sky.

browsed through their forum a little tonight, looks like most if their fans are pretty confident coming into Cheney.

In all honesty, if our team was 3-0 against someone, I would be confident going into the game as well.

That said, they are toast come August

And unless Bell, Flanders, and Sincere are making a cameo for this game I think you're in for some disappointment. Also, last time I checked KC Keeler doesn't run the option, which is what we struggled with last season and just in general.

Flanders was a monster and the meerkats rode his back for four years. Flanders had 999 carries over that time. You need Flanders more than ever.

Eastern has the fastest paced offense in the FCS. Prepare to see a lot of kittens breaking heels to keep up. :coffee:

We've gone toe to toe with Pac-12 teams the past three seasons. You'll have to excuse us if we're not trembling in our boots over lil 'ol Sam Houston. You've had some great teams the past few years and have definitely gotten the best of us in that time but all of that ends on August 23rd, sorry. You won't have the benefit of us coming off an FBS road game or playing in a deluge this year. And as already mentioned, no Flanders.

Again Keeler has brought in FBS transfers so it wont matter that we don't have those guys. Our top running back for this season was the backup to Flanders and is a very capable replacement. By the way we are still waiting to receive our 2012 and 2013 Big Sky Championship trophies. Maybe you lost the address?

Running around frantically trying to patch your broken team with FBS washups won't save you.

Fritz jumped ship when he saw it coming.

Can you blame him? I wouldn't want to play this EWU team the first game of a rebuilding season on national tv, either.

Houston, we have a problem.

Almost as bad as the Montana "Great Pumpkin" Halloween uniforms from a couple years back.
