I can understand why Verlin is upset, the Griz (especially Bruenig) got a lot of favorable phantom calls.

Weber State / Griz for the championship. Should it really be any other way?

I'm glad it's not Idaho or any seeds 7-12. It's been much more dicey for Weber to get there, I hope they're firing on all cylinders tomorrow. Yea, a televised tournament game!''

From what I've seen, the largest contingence of fans have been from Weber, Montana and Sac State but other teams have had decent sized fan bases showing up too....by far the smallest contingent of fans was from Portland St. in my opinion but I'm sure tal can straighten me up with his incredible counting abilities from the streams that you can't even read the scores on.....

Sac, the streaming isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be and the crowds do not look too impressive. You're high if you even remotely think those in attendance at reNO remotely compare in size or atmosphere to it being hosted by a BSC school and community. Of course, Weber and UM have great venues and support for such events and have done most of the hosting in recent years but even smaller sites and numbers would be so much better an atmosphere.

Griz Fan here, but yep.... Remember a few years back when UNC hosted?? Packed High School gym looked better on TV than this did.. Well?, lets say much bigger high school gym than P-St, or S-St? Anyway, you make a good point.. Weebs, and Um would have supported other teams than their own, if this tourney was in their communities! Even SLC, Billings, Boise, or Spokane for that matter?

Well...looking forward to watching a game that nobody will witness. It would have 10k people watching it in Ogden and 7K in Missoula. Sad... I'm hopeful for a good crowd. A. These teams deserve it, B. We don't want the conference to look absolutely pathetic (the refs will do that anyway) and C. This is a championship game...the college game survives because of these. You want that atmosphere. Unfortunately, the stadium will be empty.

So the Montana Grizzlies get their second crack at the Weber State Wildcats, although not in Missoula, I'm sure revenge will be on their minds and it should be a good, close game. Hope the Wildcats can continue with a little good fortune on their side and make it to the dance again, or it's a NIT bid consolation prize awaiting. For the Griz, a dance ticket with a win, or a CIT bid?

Enjoy the icing on the cake! Be satisfied for another postseason tourney win, at least in the case of the Wildcats, because there isn't any icing left for the BSC in the big boy NCAA/NIT. :-D

Number 1 and number 2 both evenly matched teams it don't get better.Definitely stuff that gets the heart pumping.GO WEBER STATE.

I'll be rooting for you guys tonight...Montana has the most arrogant fans in the BigSky, as proved by their actions in Reno this week....too bad more of you aren't making the drive to support your team but there is a decent size contingent of Weber fans there already....Good Luck and BEAT THE GRIZ!!!!!

Start flippin' Consider it lucky if the arena's 50% full...not going to look impressive but don't think that's important to the thinkers. :twocents:

Big Sky's best big men square off with conference championship on the line tonight in Reno — http://skylinesportsmt.com/big-skys-best-big-men-square-off-with-championship-on-the-line/

Almost post time, sports fans. I have serious case of pregame jitters. Let's hope the team remembers Missoula last year. Should be a great college B ball game. I hope we win cuz I wanna see Tinkle in Dames shoes. That would be a great layback to me for all the times I had to try to take pics with Tink's backside in the lens from him always standing waaay inside the court.
GEAUX WILDCATS!!
