From what I've seen, the largest contingence of fans have been from Weber, Montana and Sac State but other teams have had decent sized fan bases showing up too....by far the smallest contingent of fans was from Portland St. in my opinion but I'm sure tal can straighten me up with his incredible counting abilities from the streams that you can't even read the scores on.....
Griz Fan here, but yep.... Remember a few years back when UNC hosted?? Packed High School gym looked better on TV than this did.. Well?, lets say much bigger high school gym than P-St, or S-St? Anyway, you make a good point.. Weebs, and Um would have supported other teams than their own, if this tourney was in their communities! Even SLC, Billings, Boise, or Spokane for that matter?SWWeatherCat said:WILDCAT said:Weber State / Griz for the championship. Should it really be any other way?
I'm glad it's not Idaho or any seeds 7-12. It's been much more dicey for Weber to get there, I hope they're firing on all cylinders tomorrow. Yea, a televised tournament game!''

Sac, the streaming isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be and the crowds do not look too impressive. You're high if you even remotely think those in attendance at reNO remotely compare in size or atmosphere to it being hosted by a BSC school and community. Of course, Weber and UM have great venues and support for such events and have done most of the hosting in recent years but even smaller sites and numbers would be so much better an atmosphere.
