Eagles in the Pros

clawman,
Myself and my buddy was having problems getting on the blog for the past to days, when we did get on and try to go to view your posts, the damn thing would say :bigskyfans.com are not responding. Seems like it now fixed.
I am so happy to hear of well our Wide Receivers are doing well. I figured B. Kaufman was going to make it, honestly I didn't think it would have been that hard for Nick Edwards, and Greg Heard to hook up with any team. I knew they were all excellent receivers, of course I could be a little bias ;) . Well our team will be back on the field Aug. 7th, at 3 pm for start of practice. Recruits will be back on the 5th, old timers on the 6th  Aug 4th we will be able to see Matt Johnson Safety on the TV, in the "Hall of Fame Game" his # 37. Hope he stays healthy. Go Eagles!!!!!. Vic Wallace p.s. be prepared to see some Outstanding Wide Receivers This season. I have seen 9 of the Recruits for this year, and they all looks fantastic, some great Line Backers, and D/Backs, South Paw QB, Conner Richardson, very accurate. You and many of our supporters are going to be impressed with this team. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:    Vic

Forgot to post on Friday, but Erik Meyer set the Spokane Shock single season passing yards record in the season finale against Pittsburgh. He had already set the single season passing TDs record a week or two before. On the season he's 403/591 (68.2%) for 4,667 yards, 112 TDs, 11 INTs. His TD/INT ratio is about 4 times better than the league average. :notworthy:

That. Is. Awesome.

So Percy Harvin is having surgery. Hopefully this improves Greg's chances which, in reality, are still probably rather long. In related news, I'm so glad that there is actual football stuff to talk about. Can't wait til kickoff.

Yeah, he'd be a real surprise to stick, even with Percy starting the year on the PUP. Rice, Tate, Baldwin, Harper, Kearse, plus MAYBE one more, which means he'll be competing with big Stephen Williams who has also looked good, and possible Early Doucet, who the Hawks brought in for a tryout today. Herd does have an advantage in that he played QB in HS and is more of an athlete, in addition to good size and hands.

Taiwan competing for a corner back position on the Raiders this year...

I still think he could be a great change of pace back and kick returner if given an actual opportunity...

No way, I love what he can do, but TJ is a potato chip in a nail and hammer game. As a running back his days are numbered in weeks before he would be on the disabled list. As a corner, if he can make the transition he could have 10 years easy. I hope he is working hard at the transition.

I found out via PFT earlier. Sucks.

In other roster moves, the Seahawks waived-injured rookie wideout Greg Herd and waived rookie running back Ray Holley. Herd played at Eastern Washington, while Holley is a Louisiana Tech product. Both were undrafted free agents.

Happened to see JC on tv last name for the Eskimos. Looks like he had his hand pretty heavily taped up. Man, I had forgotten how much different Canadian football is.

Matt Johnson continues to work his way back in the role of an everyday football player after struggling through an injury plague rookie season that landed him on the injured reserve in 2012. He will run with the second defense this weekend paired with rookie J.J. Wilcox and it should be interesting how they both perform due to this being their first action in a NFL game. Johnson has looked confident and comfortable in his defensive reps but he also plays on the majority of the special teams which will allow him another avenue to prove his worth on this 53 man roster.

HOF Game tomorrow, August 4th, 5:00PM PST. :thumb:

He's looked good so far, but tweaked his ankle. They said he went to the locker room for an x-ray, but expect him to return. Hope he's not hurt.

Saw that the X-ray was negative. Hope he's back next week. He's taking a lot of heat from the peanut gallery on twitter.
