Final - 2014 Recruiting - 26 Verbals

FrontFive4Life,
We had quite a number of Recruits at the Outstanding MBB Game, didn't get an opportunity to talk with any. There were Parents their with Sons, they raised as much hell as the rest of us on Eagles side, I really enjoyed seeing how they were jump/shouting, especially when we pull that game out in OT 94-90. Hope to see many of you on this blog on the Wed. 5th, I can honestly say we are all going to be very happy after Wednesday. Must give our WBB Team shout out, the also pulled out their game in Colorado 52-51, earlier that week our Women team lost by 1 point, so they returned the favor to NC. The crowd was livid, raised all type of havoc, so happy to come up with that big victory. For the Recruits enjoyment yesterday,   :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: our Football Game against "Oregon State" was shown on the Big Screen on Roos Field, what a Recruiting Tool ;) , smart Coaches. Vic Wallace

Wow, Wow, Wow, Wednesday can not get here quick enough. Baldwin and staff always do a great job of highlighting the recruits strengths and "state of the team" if you will.

QB Nsimba Webster made the All State 1 team in California.
http://www.calhisports.com/2014/02/02/all-state-football-first-team-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

" Our partners at SportStars Magazine selected Nsimba as their East Bay Athlete of the Year and he also was MVP in the Bay Valley Athletic League ahead of Freedom’s Joe Mixon. He led Deer Valley to an 11-2 record with 2,026 yards and 22 TDs as a passer. He was more electrifying as a runner with 1,544 yards and 28 TDs, including a 94-yarder. He scored twice on long runs against De La Salle (which is very hard to do). The college offers aren’t great, but San Jose State and other mid-majors seem interested."

I hate to bring up a name from the past, but is Joe Mixon related to Eastern short-timer, now California penal system hard-timer Terry Mixon?

From the Oregonian

Tigard running back Manu Rasmussen now considering Montana as well as Eastern Washington

Elgae
Glad you are back, we heard that also, we are now waiting for tomorrow, we will know who we are getting. Spoke to Kevin at last MBB Game he always stop and talk with us. He is aware of the Seniors Meal on Friday Feb 21st @ 4p.m. Take care. Vic Wallace

Manu Rassmusen decommitted from EWU and committed to UM.

6-4 WR Jalani Phelps from Lynden, WA committed to EWU

335,771 Historical Documents and Family Trees with Mixon on Ancestry.com.

<Mod-edit> Come on man. :ohno:

Joe Mixon seems to be a very affable and talented RB, who BTW is a twitter friend with Nzuzi Webster, a current EWU commit. Nice work dumbass

Not a shocker- his teammate and friend has an offer to Montana. Less than 24!

DL Monike Sarte (6'1", 285) from Fife HS looks to possibly commit at any moment as well. Currently on a visit to EWU.

Interesting, alot of really good DLine prospects. My guess would be that a couple may be looked at on the OL if they commit. I'm also wondering if a couple of Dline vets may not be returning because of injuries???

Yeah, he has a current teammate that previously commited to UM. He probably also saw how stacked we are at RB. Not a big shocker, and all in all probably not a big loss, either.

He's a good athlete, looks like he may be playing slot.

Stu Stiles seems like a player whom was overlooked due to injury. Very sound athlete with a good arm. Hope he develops well without trouble with his collarbone!
