Final - 2014 Recruiting - 26 Verbals

Camas falls to Chiawana in 4A finals 26-27. Sorry for our future QB. Great season Camas.

The manner of their loss was tragic too, brings back to mind the EWU/Griz game last year. Two TDs in the last minute aided by an onside kick. But great season for Camas, and hope he continues a great career here at Eastern.

I saw that Zach Eagle got knocked out of the game and maybe had to go to the hospital. Hope he's alright...not just because we're recruiting him.

O lineman Andre Dillard, Woodinville, who also had offers from Eastern, Idaho and PSU, has made a verbal commitment to Washington State.

EWUmomma,
Hope things are fine with you and the family. Have been noticing he nasty/bad weather there and another shooting there at Colorado High School. Here is hoping we see you at the game today. Should be an outstanding game. We had about 2 hours from SWX this am, 7am-9am, great way to start the day.
p.s. Curly Russo was the star of SWX this morning ;) he made me hungry talking about bacon in his trailer in the lot. For t he ones that does know Curly, he is one of our great EAGLE Fan along with clawman, and others that have been here rooting our Eagles along for as long as I have, or longer. Attend Basketball Games and you will see Curly with his hand bag giving out CANDIES, and you will see Clawman down front of the new seating section enjoying the games. Section LD is where we all sits. Lets go get a big one. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

According to NW Prep Report, Zach Eagle of Camas has made his commitment to play wide receiver and special teams for the EW Eagles next year.

In 2012, Zach Eagle made the first team 4A all state team at WR. Don't know about this year. He isn't very tall, but he is very fast, vertical, and agile. He'll be a great addition. I bet he'll be returning punts based on his speed and elusiveness.

I noticed Cassidy Curtis was not wearing a knee brace in the game yesterday  Bad Idea!

Video on Mr. Eagle. note :55 of senior playoff highlights when he is in coverage, gets turned around then recovers and breaks on ball. Very nice. This is the highest level of HS football in WA against good teams, so let's refrain from the "how fast is he stuff". Fast enough.

University of Wyoming with new Head Coach Craig Bohl from North Dakota State has re-entered the picture with Conner Cain from Heritage HS in Littleton, Colorado. They offered him on Friday.

Who wants to go be on a losing team when you can compete for a Championship every year???
WYOMING = 3 years away from a "no one cares bowl" & 0 chance of NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP - - - EVER!

Well, that sucks. So does Wyoming, for that matter.

 4.68

Hmm, rivals had him at 4.5. I wonder if I was mislead.

Not sure where Zach was timed. Saw the 4.68 on HUDL and 4.5 on Rivals, but he looked plenty fast on film, certainly quick. I like his body control and quickness - smaller Kupp? Best receivers have great body control IMO. Will take speed too :-) I run about a 5.5 10..... got that going for me. gunga la gunga

No worries, family atmosphere vs. clash of culture. New coaches always forget seniors IMO and create friction early. Not sure Bohl is very different from Christensen and that may work against him too. Connor will have to decide what works for him.

kids commit and decommit every season and this one will probably not be any different. Bohls may turn things around some at Wyo but I still doubt they will win more than seven games in their best years. That is just a really hard place to win at.

When Conner Cain verbally committed to Eastern he also had offers from Montana, Northern Colorado, and South Dakota State, but Bohl and N Dakota State didn't offer. Is NDST that good that they couldn't offer him, but Bohl thinks he is good enough for Wyoming? Maybe NDST is that good, hope Eastern gets the chance to find out.

Agreed. At the end of the day it will boil down to what he thinks is best for him. Family atmosphere and winning program versus playing at a very marginal FBS program. Still, there are benefits to both and only the individual can decide what's right for him/her.
