Not sure about the score but just go read some of the crap over on EGRIZ and you will see why we need to shut Mantana up early! They have absolutely no respect for us as a team, a school or a town and consider us a gnat on the road and their head is getting huge as the WAC discussion grows. I sure hope our Bears are up to the challenge! It could be the perfect storm for us to finally beat them on sat.

Don't worry about the fans over at eat jizz, about 100% of them have no idea what they're talking about. They think that they're going into the SEC just after one year in the WAC.
Yeah... no on has said anything like that. A few idiots have talked about going straight to the MWC but that's it.
And I'd like to know what UNC has done to earn respect at the FCS level.

Spoken like someone who has probably never played a competitive sport in his life. You should always respect your opponent. I'm sure the Griz coaches and players respect UNC, why shouldn't you?

Last season we finished 2nd in men's basketball (regular season) and our women finished 1st in the Big Sky in volleyball or is football the only sport that counts?

Well, just my opinion but it's not just football that makes a school's athletic program successful. But my alma mater hasn't won 15 straight Big Sky Conference football titles either. What do I know? Dissenters will say that since volleyball and women's basketball aren't money-making sports then they aren't important. I say that I hope they have daughters/grand-daughters who excel in volleyball, soccer and womens basketball and earn collegiate scholarships requiring them to support these sports.

this is the best shot we've ever had to upset Montana.
I believe you are correct. And that's sad because at some point during the game you'll once again come to the realization that your very best isn't nearly enough.

Da Griz -

Up to your old shenanigans again of stirring up message boards, eh? :)

Um, what does that have to do with fans on a message board? He was complaining about our fanbase's respect, not our actual team. Our team respects every opponent, as any team already fighting for their playoffs lives should; you think any of the vets forgot about almost losing to winless Idaho State as the #2 team in the nation last year? And yes I have played "competitive sports"

And there is no such thing as FCS volleyball or whatever other sport it was that was mentioned. Hence why I said FCS and not Division I.

Lets not blow this out of proportion. Lets just have some fun between fans The Griz have an excellent program and we are working hard to get back to where we need to be and we will !! And for the record, I too have played competitve sports. Bears Win on saturday!

I think the UNC Bears have gotten better each year just need for some of their young players to develop. I just don't think that it will be this weekend against the Griz.

Ok jjj3rd, relax have a cold beer, enjoy the weather and you will have that same dumb look as your little icon after the Bears win

I was up at Eastern Washington when they beat the Griz and they cryed like babies. They do not take losing very well. It will be good to see them go down for the third time this season. Go Bears!! This is not the team of old.

You know who Montana fans remind me of? Nebraska....(Growing up a CU fan, thats the easiest parallel I can draw). Love to be up there with y'all tomorrow, but heading to Boulder for CU-Georgia....Anyhow, if the offense can move it on Montana like they did ISU/Weber, we can win the game (FINISHING DRIVES ARE KEY)...

UNC-27
Montana-21

Yeah, I was there too, and our players DID cry. Like they do after every loss. Everyone connected to this program has high expectations, the players most of all.

(Most)Montana fans remind me of Utah State FAggie fans, if you ever wanted to know what a Griz fan is like go to the Spectrum in Logan.

When the Griz were losing in Ogden back in 2008 the UM players started committing craploads of PERSONAL FOUL penalties, which came late in the game, when the game was sealed.

Your right the Griz dont take losing very well.

If UNC is winning in the closing minutes my wisdom to Bear players... Keep your eyes open.

Tomorrow is a big day for this program, this university. This is more than just 60 minutes of football. Tomorrow is the day we find out who we are. I expect Nottingham to be as electric as it has been in nearly a decade. This is our biggest game in at least five years. Tomorrow is the day if we know if we are truly a team that is ready for "the big time" at this level in football. I live basically right on campus, and I gotta say Greeley has had a vibe tonight that is the equivalent of what you would expect for a game in Boulder. A win tomorrow does wonders for the UNC Bears, and this community. I hope all of you can make it out tomorrow, (come early, tailgating will be abound) but if you can't logistically, root from your car, or your home. Let's change our ways of being critical of the program, tomorrow is the day we need to all be proud to be Bears, whether you're a Bear from the past or present. Let's Go Bears!

Bring in a new QB and then run up the middle three times in a row at mid field.

Talk about playing not to lose, since when is Josh McDaniels calling our plays?

Brutal.
