Don't normally go over to their thread/forum, but they are ready to jump off bridges . . . even blaming us for stealing their "SPIRIT"

Cool. Blame Eastern all you want. Fact is, Southern Utah tried everything they could to give that game away in the 4th quarter by going into a deep prevent way too early, but Montana State couldn't make it happen.

Personally, I hope the Griz knock them out of the playoffs next week. We recruit against them, and it's better for us to see them struggle.

Loved listening to their announcers at the end of the game they sounded like they were gong to just go into an absolute explicative laced tantrum over that call and decision by McGhee.

That was exactly what ran through my head as well! Being as experienced as McGhee is he made some horrible decisions in this game (what I saw - 2nd half only).

Not at all. I think they move into the top 10, but if we beat PSU next week we are a lock at one of the top 3 seeds.
The loss to SH will be considered early and a away game . . .following 2 FBS games . . .I am sure the committee will keep it all in perspective. PLUS they like teams that are hot at the end of the year and EWU is scalding hot with 2 marquee players to promote around . . . don't underestimate the $$$$ when it comes to the NCAA. I think we get a more favorable seed because of Adams and Kupp. . . . YES to all who read this I am aware of the way bidding process works for home games.

Yeah, but the bidding process is irrelevant for seeded teams. The higher seed always plays at home. If Eastern wins and gets a 3-seed, we'd be at home if we keep winning until at least the semifinals.

Even if we win out, it's conceivable that they give us the #4 seed. NDSU and EIU probably has the #1 and #2 seeds locked up, so we are fighting for the #3 seed at this point. Not sure who they play, but SELA losing next Saturday would help us out.

Also. Maine is at 10-1. If they beat UNH next weekend, they'll lock up the #3 seed, and we'll be looking at the #4 or #5 seed. That said, UNH has a chance there.

I looked, ans SELA plays Nichols State, so not holding my breathe on them beating SELA.

It is certainly conceivable that we'd get bumped to a 4-seed even with a big win next week.... but I'd argue it is just as conceivable that we overtake Eastern Illinois for the 2-seed. While I think it is ultimately unlikely, the OVC has a horrendous playoff record and it's tough to overcome that history.

Maine might be in a better position to argue for a 3-seed at 11-1. But their schedule is a lot softer than ours Only 1 FBS win and that was against UMass, one of the worst programs at the level. Plus, they have a lot of narrow escapes.

The teams that were ranked 4 and 5 behind us this week (Sam Houston State and Fordham) both lost. Quite seriously, that single loss suddenly puts Fordham on the bubble because they aren't eligible for the Patriot League auto-bid. It will be hard to justify taking two from the Patriot.

With the Sam Houston loss we are no worse than a 3 with a win next week..

At 10-2, I think that is improbable unless Maine or Eastern Illinois lose. Both would be at 11-1 if they win their final games.

With a WIN next week at home vs PSU, Eastern will be an auto-bid, outright BSC CHAMP, and a 3 seed at no worse, possibly a 2 seed due to strength of schedule over EILL. We played and beat OSU,SUU,UM,MSU,CPU. Played and lost to Toledo and SHSU. That's 7 quality teams. how many has EILL played? 1
