Nice...He's a heck of a player. I hope Weber gets him. Thanks for the information George.

Weber State looking at sleeper 6'7" Aluk Adub from Florida plays for Prospects aau, very athletic small forward, aggressive going to the rim...other schools, Weber State, Winthrop ,Furman, Jacksonville, North Florida..

Lasalle Mckay is being looked at by the coaching staff.

6-3 SR at Bountiful High School. In a AAU game for the Metro Stars, McKay hit 8 3pts enroute to a 34 pt performance.

2 more players you're looking at.

Davante Adams 6'3" SG from Palo Alto HS in CA
Lydell Cardwell 6'2" SG from Mid Peninsula HS in CA

Who else is looking at Baker? Are we about to lose him too? We need to land 1 of the 2 Taylor, Baker, but I'm getting nerveous with all these guards we're looking at including Browns offer.

Honestly, I'm not to worried about Baker. He's been to Weber, he likes the players, school, and most importantly, the coaches. Granted, there are some big dicks swinging at him, so one never knows whats going to happen. But I really think coaches loyalty to him when he got injured is going to end up benefiting the Cats.

I'm thinking if Baker or Woods don't come though, Weber will still be fine. Brown is looking extremely impressive right now. He's playing very well against great competition in the AAU circuit. He's a local boy (Heber..Mahoney is probably working on him) and will most likely want to stay kinda close to home.

Not only is Brown looking good, but also, Lydell Cardwell. He looks like a total STEAL right now. The kid averaged 30pts a game as a JR. He had a game where he scored 50pts.

Aluk Adub isn't a bad looking player either...18.5 pts and 13.5 rebounds per game.

It is safe to say Woods and Holmes won't be signing with Weber

Taylor, Price, Baker would be big time signees if we could land one or any.

The coaches said there is another "big time" recruit coming to campus sometime this week. I have no idea who it could be...Tal? fatcat? Heyoh? Any ideas?

Could be a transfer from what I heard. Was not able to confirm, so to protect the player, don't want to list a name. News should come out this week if it is a thumbs up

A source very close to the basketball program told me that Brown is a huge get for the Cats. That he will be a great addition to our team. Brown is a hard working, tough nosed, player. Just the type that Rahe wants. I've also heard that another recruit will be visiting campus this weekend. He is from
Texas. I don't know if he is a transfer or a high school player. I heard the transfer is a done deal, so the kid coming this weekend, most likely, is starting his Sr. year. Its not AJ Price. I asked. He isn't being pursued by Weber anymore. We already got a 2 in Brown. I couldn't guess, so its someone I don't know about.

I don't know if we are talking about the same transfer. However, there is one enrolled in school now. He will have to sit out a year, but he sounds really good. His name hasn't been released yet and I don't feel good about putting it out on a public forum until it is. He is a 6'6'' power forward from a major program. He was ranked as the 22nd best player in California coming out of high school. From the clips I have seen on him, he is a load inside the paint. I didn't see any outside shooting in his highlight real and he is not a high flyer, but he moves to the glass with authority and handles the ball well. I think he will fit in well with what we have. I think that the vissitor this week is a HS kid, I just don't know much about him. I am eager to hear what happens with Baker. It sounds to me like Baker is sort of a tweener, part point guard and part off guard. A lot like Lillard.

We have talked about him. Most of us know who it is, but just haven't talked about it much????? Texas recruit is a HS kid and is legit, and would be the star of the 2011 recruiting class.

Unfortunately, his name has already been mentioned, but you'll have to go through a lot of posts to find it. Anyway, he is a good pickup for the Cats. As for Baker, I have a pretty strong feeling that he wont be coming to Weber. We wouldn't have the kid from Texas visiting this weekend if he was.
