Taking Cal Poly over the Bobcats in a slight upset. Tempted to take Sac St over EWU, but I am not a believer yet.

4-3

Conference standings after Week 6

UM 2-0 (5-0 vs FCS)
MSU 2-0 (5-0 vs FCS
Sac 1-0 (2-0 vs FCS)
WSU 1-0 (3-0 vs FCS)
NAU 1-1 (2-2 vs FCS)
PSU 1-1 (1-1 vs FCS)
CP 1-1 (2-2 vs FCS)
ISU 1-1 (1-2 vs FCS)
EWU 1-1 (1-3 vs FCS)
UNC 1-1 (1-3 vs FCS)
UI 0-2 (1-2 vs FCS)
UCD 0-2 (2-3 vs FCS)
SUU 0-2 (1-4 vs FCS)

After a strong start, looking like the conference may only get 3 playoff bids (UM, MSU, WSU), unless another team goes on a tear and wins out or maybe only loses one more. I figure it will probably take 8 FCS wins to make it. 7 wins would put you on the bubble.

WEEK 7

Sat, Oct 12
UND @ ISU (-1.5) #
SAC @ MSU (-1.5) #
UNC @ EWU (-19.5) #
UI @ PSU (-1.5) #
CP @ UCD (-13.5) #
SUU @ WSU (-23.5) #

UM and NAU have Byes

Three very tight spreads of 1.5 points. Those should be great games. I like ISU and MSU because they are home. I would like to take UI but after seeing their last road game I'll take PSU. I like Davis at home but I think that game is much closer than the 13.5 point spread. So, I like all of the home teams.

Montana pitches a shutout against BYE
NAU probably loses their starting QB in their BYE

 With his history, it's possible Cookus gets one of those "slipped in the shower" type of injuries

FCS: Percent Chance For Every Big Sky Team To Make The 2019 Playoffs

Weber State

Record: 3-2 overall, 3-0 vs. FCS
(Currently) Ranked Wins: 1 (No. 10 UNI)
Remaining Games: vs. SUU, vs. NAU, @ UC Davis, @ Sac St, vs. UND, @ Mont, vs. Idaho St

70 percent - The Wildcats have built a strong resume to start, going 3-0 against the FCS with a win against now-No. 10 Northern Iowa. This team is always tough at home and four of the remaining seven games are in Ogden. The concern comes with the road games. At UC Davis, Sac State and Montana are all going to be battles. Weber didn't have its best game this last week against Idaho. So there are some corrections that need to be made. But the defense remains its strength and the running game is starting to get going. It'd take a lot for this team to miss the playoffs. And right now, the Wildcats are eyeing a seed.

I'm going out on a limb here.

UND @ ISU (-1.5) #
SAC @ MSU (-1.5) #
UNC @ EWU (-19.5) #
UI @ PSU (-1.5) #
CP @ UCD (-13.5) #
SUU @ WSU (-23.5) #

My typically awful picks vs the spread:

UND (+1.5) over ISU
MSU (-1.5) over SAC
EWU (-19.5) over UNC
UI (+1.5) over PSU (-1.5)
CP (+13.5) over UCD
WSU (-23.5) over SUUCKS
