2019 Big Sky Games

Wow! In 5 of the 6 games the road team is the favorite. Home teams have been strong this season so I just don't see 5 road teams winning. I'll take 2, PSU and UCD.

I think that UM is ripe for a fall and Sac is playing well.

Two games that matter to UI and Petrino are WSU and ISU. We got their best game and so will ISU.

ISU still hurting and on the road.
UM questioning themselves and EWU must win.
MSU is not a road team and UND is good at home.
NAU will bounce back.

Some tough picks this week. I really think every game but Sac @ CP could go either way.

UND got a good win on the road last week and plays well at home. MSU coming off a tough loss and a bye week.

How much will Sneed being out impact the EWU/UM game?

ISU has not been good on the road and I think SUU is due.

Even after winning at UNC last week, PSU hasn't been great on the road and this will be two weeks in a row playing at high elevation in places not easy to get to. Still, this game is a toss up but I'll give the edge to the home team.

WSU/UCD is another toss up. My head says take the home team, but my heart wants to take Weber. If Weber can finally put a full game together they win this one.

Poly is fading and Sac is on fire. Only real easy pick this week.

I'm going crazy and picking 4 upsets.

MSU (Pick) Over UND

North Dakota has home field advantage and the better QB but I think Montana State is the better all around team. MSU controls the line of scrimmage and gets out with a win.

EWU (+7.5) over UM

EWash has their backs against the wall and it looks like Sneed will be out for Montana. I’m taking the 7.5 points.

SUU (+7.5) over ISU

Long bus trip for Idaho State. I don’t really trust them yet and SUU can throw the ball a bit. Taking the home dog.

NAU (+2.5) over PSU

Cookie at home, at elevation, as an underdog vs a mediocre outfit. Taking the points

WSU (+2.5) over UCD

Homer pick. It’s a toss up. I think we can run the ball well enough to win this. Davis’ run d hasn’t been horrible but everyone besides SUU has found success ground. Our d-line really needs to Harris’s Maier.

Sac (-14.5) over CP

Cal Poly is praying for a letdown game from Sac. It’s too hard for me to bet against Sac right now.

Weber will do just enough to win this.

I think Cal Poly will keep it close but will still lose.
 
Griz beat EWU 34-17.

Stick a fork in EWU, they are done.

ISU trying to give SUU the game, but SUU not taking. at the half ISU 20-SUU 31.
 
The ISU game was quite pathetic. Both teams did their best to lose. ISU wanted the loss the most. That's a few hours of my life I can never get back.

Weber plays solid D and wins as expected.

Sac still playing.
